Mount Cook + on my way to Twizel [January 17]

When I arrived at the Mount Cook park, rain was pissing down from the sky. So I settled myself in my car and started to read a book. Around 4 pm in the afternoon the sky started to break open and slowly the earth was warmth again by the sun. You can see this progress in the following pictures.

Mount Cook - still hiding.

Me in front of Mt. Cook. The summit hidden.

The summit visible at last!
Mister Hankey and Mt. Cook.

On my way to Twizel.

To be continued.

Hello Lisette,

I'm from NY. I've never been to New Zealand. I don't know if I ever will. But I enjoyed viewing your photos. Many of them were breath-taking. I can't imagine experiencing them in real life.

I don't know much about digital cameras but my eyes tell me (1) you have a great camera and (2) you take great photos.

I'm adding your blog as a fav. I will check back in to follow you on your adventures!

(p.s. I'm secretely jealous that you get to travel and I have to go to work on Monday.)
